VDMA - German Engineering Federation

The VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau - German Engineering Federation) represents 3,000 mainly small/medium size member companies in the engineering industry, making it one of the largest and most important industrial associations in Europe.

The VDMA is also one of the key lobby groups and service providers to the engineering industry in Europe.

CAPE - China Association for Pharmaceutical Equipment

China Association For Pharmaceutical Equipment (CAPE in short) was founded in 1991, who represents the benefits of all its members and maintain their legal rights and interest. Its aim is to serve both the China government and pharmaceutical equipment manufacturing enterprises. CAPE currently has about 255 members, 47 commissioners, 8 deputy head and 11 executive commissioners. It is structured by a secretariat office, a member management department, a technical and economic department, a international department, a web section and an exhibition management department.

Gambica - Automation, Instrumentation & Control Laboratory Technology

It is the national organisation representing the interests of companies in the instrumentation, control, automation and laboratory technology industry in the UK. The diverse nature of the industry is reflected in the five industry sectors represented by the Association:

  • Industrial automation products and systems
  • Process measurement and control equipment and systems
  • Environmental analysis and monitoring equipment
  • Laboratory technology
  • Test and measurement equipment for electrical and electronics industries

GIFIC - French Association of Equipment's Suppliers for the Chemical Industry

Le Groupement Interprofessionnel des Fournisseurs de l’Industrie Chimique (GIFIC), a member of the Federation of Mechanical Industries, was created in 1987 in order to ensure the promotion of French chemical equipment manufacturers especially among large companies in the chemical industry, and also for export.

Today GIFIC together, through a 7-member union, represents about 300 French companies achieving a turnover of about 15 billion Francs of which 45% is exported.

GIFIC also welcomes associate members and corresponding members, for example, the GEP (Groupement des entreprises parapétrolières et paragazières) or representatives of large companies in the chemical industry.

ANIMA - Federation of Italian Associations of Mechanical and Engineering Industries

It is the industrial organisation which represents all major companies of the mechanical and engineering industry within the Italian Confederation of the Industry - Confindustria, a field that gives work to 192.000 employees and reaches a turnover of 41 Billion Euro and 51% rate of export/turnover.

Established in 1914, the Federation numbers within its organisation more than 60 Associations and groups and over 1000 member-companies among the best qualified within their own specialised production. ANIMA fosters the interest of the mechanical and engineering industry, representing and promoting in Italy and abroad the companies and their production and supporting the member-companies in all their technical and economic problems. The Federation represents the main reference organisation at national and international level for all Italian companies of the mechanical and engineering industry.

KoreaBIO - Korea Biotechnology Industry Organization

KoreaBio is a non-profit organization and a kind of trade association. The association has unified three different associations of biotechnology filed since Nov2008. KoreaBio mission is to become a supportive organization to serve the member companies more efficiently and be a reliable partner of the government. Also, to actively participate as a member of international bio-industry communities and to develop various training and policy making programs to support the industry and government. KoreaBio represents over 250 member companies and growing.

ASEBIO - Spanish Association of Bioenterprises

ASEBIO brings together companies, associations, foundations, universities, technology and research centres that undertake their activities either directly or indirectly related to biotechnology in Spain.

ASEBIO has acted as a meeting and promotion platform for those organisations interested in the development of the national biotechnology scene since 1999. ASEBIO therefore works in close collaboration with regional, national and European governments together with all those social organisations interested in the use of biotechnology for improving the quality of life, the environment and the generation of skilled employment.
